Can you have blow dries with hair extensions?
Hair extensions look fabulous once blow dried and styled. In short, the answer is yes you can, however ensure your stylist is experienced with hair extensions when you book.
We are now offering blow dries in our Chelsea salon and would love to see you after your fitting.
Can we get our hair coloured at your salon before our extensions are fitted?
Yes, we have 2 top colourists available in our Chelsea salon. Whilst there is no pressure from us, it is available to have your colour and hair extensions done in one appointment.
We use both L'Oréal and Wella.
Will hair extensions ruin my natural hair?
We are sure to use the best and safest materials throughout the whole process. All our technicians are experienced hairdressers with years of practice specialising in solely hair extensions. You will feel at ease throughout the whole process. We say the fitting is 50% of the overall health of your hair. You will also be required to follow our guidelines to ensure the health of them at home.
How will I know what method is best for me?
Your free consultation is key when choosing the right hair extension method for you and your hair. We take many factors into consideration. FaceTime or in-person consultations are available to book now.
How high maintenance is having extensions?
Hair extensions are easily maintainable in everyday life. There are some maintenance rules on how best to look after your hair extensions, which we provide you with before service, but they are easy to follow.
How often do I need my extensions refitted?
The micro ring method allows for hair to be used again after 3–4 months. Keratin bonds last 3–4 months but the hair cannot be reused.
Tape method lasts 7–9 weeks before a refit is needed.
Can I go swimming with my new hair extensions?
After swimming, it is important that you rinse hair thoroughly, as salt water and chlorine can cause the hair extensions to discolour.
Will people know I have extensions in?
With a perfect colour match and the correct cut to blend them to your natural hair, no, people should not be able to know you have hair extensions in.
What type of hair do you use?
We have a selection of Russian and European hair. Depending on the client's hair, we choose appropriately.
What products should I use on my hair extensions?
Recommended products to ensure the best maintenance for your extensions:

· Balmain hair products are designed for hair extensions, which is why we have chosen to supply solely them within the salon.
Top tips
1. Ensure you wash your hair in upward motions. Circular motions can cause matting of your hair extensions.
2. Don’t brush your hair extensions wet, as the hair can go stringy. Blast it 70% dry before you brush to maintain the condition.
